Financial Aid

Families can sometimes face financial barriers which can prevent their children from participating in organised sport. To assist families with payment, there are organisations that offer financial assistance for children registering in sports programs.

KidSport grants are awarded based on financial eligibility, and a child can receive up to $300 per calendar year to help offset the cost of organised sport registration and/or equipment.

Jumpstart is designed to provide assistance to those who, due to lack of funds, would otherwise be unable to participate in sport, art, cultural, and recreation activities.
